Fault Description Possible Cause Remedy/Action
External failure, contact warm-up, LED flashing.

A) External sensor fault.

 

 

 

B) Incorrect application in use

 

 

 

 

A) Ensure sensor cables are correctly connected to thermostat terminals.

Disconnect sensor and measure its resistance in ohms.  Replace sensor if value deviates greatly from standard.

 

B) Press middle Accept key to access the main menu.  Scroll down and select Application, press Accept again and check that the correct application has been set.  E.g. If one floor sensor has been selected in the menu, press Accept to save this application.

Internal failure, contact warm-up, LED flashing. Built-in sensor short-circuited or disconnected. Replace the thermostat.
The relay is active and the LED lights red, but the heater provides no heat. Heater incorrectly connected or defective.  Thermostat relay defective. Disconenct heater from thermostat terminals.  Measure output voltage.  If output voltage is OK, the heater must be checked and replaced if necessary.  If output voltage is lacking, replace the thermostat.
The display is blank. Thermostat in standby mode.  Power supply disconnected.

Press the standby button to activate the display.

Ensure power supply to thermostat.

Settings cannot be changed. Thermostat in child-lock mode (padlock shown on display). Select General Settings in the menu.  Press Accept and select Child Lock.  Press Accept again and set Child Lock to OFF.
The heater provides heat although the LED remains unlit (indicating that heating should be inactive). Thermostat relay defective. Replace the thermostat.
