The Challenge
The grand McLain homes are designed around lifestyles, so every
aspect of the properties had to be flexible and bespoke. Radiators
however, restricted arrangements of furniture and ornaments.
The Solution
Warmup® underfloor heating systems offer extra-comfortable warmth and being fitted under the floor, freed up wall space. It also reduced unhygienic drafts and airborne allergens, creating a healthier and safer environment for all the family. Warmup® 120W/m² and 240W/m² electric floor heating mats were installed in conjunction with the Energy-star rated Warmup® USTAT thermostats, which were wall-mounted for convenient access and operation.
The Result
Warmup® heaters provided a practical alternative to traditional radiators. With no maintenance needed, homeowners were able to indulge freely in their lifestyles.
