These feature a thin 1.8mm wire, either loose or pre-spaced in a mat or foil. There is also an inscreed cable of 5mm.
The thin wire systems won't raise floor levels and are ideal for refurbishment projects.
Warmup® electric underfloor heating, the world’s best-selling floor heating brand™, provides warmth throughout the whole room, giving a whole new meaning to heating and comfort. Warmup underfloor heating offers heat-up time in minutes rather than hours, avoiding overheating and wasting energy. For example, a typical bathroom costs just 13p per day to run. This is based on UK electricity price of 11.61p/kWh (April 2014), Warmup underfloor heating mats on a tiled floor.
Warmup’s loose wire, matting and foil electric underfloor systems use BEAB-approved ultra-thin heating elements to quickly yet gently heat the floor surface. The heating wire with fluoropolymer coatings is ultra-thin at1.8mm, and will not raise floor levels.
The heating mat comes in two different outputs; 150W/m2 and 200W/m2. The higher output has been designed for high heat loss areas, such as conservatories. The loose wire system comes in a minimum heat output of 150W/m2 and its output is variable and determined by the spacing. The foil heater is designed for installation under soft and resilient floor finishes, such as carpet.
The Inscreed Cable is 5mm thick and is an ideal solution for heating screeded floors of any size. Once installed, the heated screed can be covered with any flooring.
