Chic Brighton Home featuring Total-16 Water Underfloor Heating System

When influencer Kerry Whelpdale began putting together the renovation plans for her new bungalow in Brighton, she knew she wanted a contemporary heating solution that would improve the house’s energy performance.

Warmup’s Total-16 Low-Profile Hydronic System was specified as the best floor heater for the project and was installed throughout the entire floor area of the bungalow. At only 16mm deep, the Total-16 System would have little impact on the floor levels and fixed ceiling heights of the space whilst also being perfect to install with the project’s concrete subfloor and the luxurious ceramic floor tiles that Kerry had chosen.

As it was to heat a large area, the Total-16 System was fitted as separate heating zones, giving Kerry and her family the ability to manage different heating outputs and schedules in different rooms of the home. Each heating zone is controlled by a dedicated Element WiFi Thermostat whilst also offering remote control and automatic heating through Warmup’s MyHeating app which greatly enhances the energy efficiency of the underfloor heating system.
