How does electric underfloor heating work?
Electric underfloor heating works by using electric heating cables or electric heating mats installed beneath the floor surface that are connected to the mains electricity. When the system is turned on, the electric current passes through the system and converts this energy into radiant warmth. This heat is then evenly distributed across the floor, warming the room from the ground up. The heating system is controlled by a thermostat, allowing you to set and maintain your desired temperature efficiently. This method provides consistent and comfortable heating, eliminating cold spots and improving energy efficiency compared to traditional radiators.
