What is Smartcare by Warmup?

Smartcare is our new heating support service that connects Warmup’s heating experts directly to our customers’ heating systems via their Smart Thermostat. It provides total peace of mind for the end-user: through real-time system performance monitoring to 24/7 proactive advice to free on-site callouts, if needed.

With the launch of Smartcare, we’ve connected our expert knowledge directly to hundreds of thousands of floor heating systems overnight, helping us with our mission of changing the way we heat our homes by making your home more comfortable, more efficient and ultimately, more sustainable.

What are the Smartcare subscription options?

Smartcare is split into three membership strands. Let’s go through them one-by-one.

1. Smartcare React

Our free-of-charge service is available for all Warmup Smart Thermostat users. Smartcare React allows our team to remotely diagnose most issues that a heating system may experience instantly, using live and historical performance data. With Smartcare React, you can reach us directly over the phone with no need for lengthy troubleshooting or call outs, because we can see exactly what the system is, and isn’t doing.

2. Smartcare Efficiency+

As a premium upgrade, Efficiency+ ensures that a heating system is performing at its best by identifying efficiency opportunities in a property – helping you to optimise your heat schedules, reduce energy wastage and save money on your energy bills. As an Efficiency+ user, you will also receive monthly reports containing personalised recommendations and energy insights.

3. Smartcare Maintenance+

Our third strand of the service, Smartcare Maintenance+ is another premium upgrade and includes all React and Efficiency+ features alongside rapid repair assistance for your Warmup system – allowing you to enjoy priority support, annual system health checks and free on-site repairs from the UK’s only dedicated network of underfloor heating engineers. We can even address any issues experienced by your heating system after your flooring has been laid.

Smartcare has been fully developed and operated in-house by Warmup from our London HQ, meaning that your data is strictly private, adheres to GDPR rules and will never be shared with third parties without your explicit consent. How do you sign up to Smartcare?

You just need one of our Smart thermostats. Smartcare works with all Warmup Smart controls, past and present: the 4iE, 5iE, 6iE, 6iE Mini, Element & the brand new 7iE Smart Matter WiFi Thermostat.

Simply connect the thermostat to the internet using the free MyHeating app and the Smartcare React service will be automatically set up to look after the Warmup system, with no additional steps required. If you want to upgrade to Smartcare Efficiency+ or Maintenance+, simply log into the MyWarmup web portal and choose your preferred membership – it’s already linked to your Warmup account and thermostats. You can change your selected package or cancel at any time.
