The Challenge

Racing car icon Sir Stirling Moss started building his dream home in central London in the early 1960’s. Packed full of advanced technological features such as a one-of-a-kind personal lift, Sir Moss wanted a matching piece of technology to warm the upper level of the multiple-storey home.

The Solution

Due to the unique nature of the building and its location on a central London street, a careful and considered approach had to be taken to install a Warmup floor heating solution. Accurate and easy to use heating control was also requested by the client, with the temperature and schedule being easy to maintain and change as needed – a custom 3iE Programmable Thermostat was the perfect choice.

The Result

A simple to install and easy to use Warmup energy-efficient heating system was specified and successfully installed to provide a consistent and comfortable heat output for Sir Moss and his family.
