Compatibility

No – the foil heater is designed for use under floating floors only. Tiles are fixed to the sub floor using tile adhesive and a suitable system will be required such as the DWS, SPM (Stickmat) or the DCM-PRO system. Click here for further information on these systems.

The DCM-PRO system can be used with all floor types as long as they are suitable for use with underfloor heating. Floor tiles can be laid directly onto the DCM-PRO system using tile adhesive. Other floor finishes will need to be covered by a 10mm layer of self-levelling compound before installing the final floor finish.

The dual overlay system is designed for use with Carpet and Vinyl flooring. The overlay boards must not be used with tiles or wood flooring, please see the technical specification sheet for more information.

The Foil heater can be used with carpet and vinyl but must be installed in conjunction with the Warmup Dual Overlay System.
