Can a wooden floating floor be installed directly over the Warmup DWS or Stickymat system?


If using the Warmup DWS or Stickymat with a floating wood floor the heating element must be embedded into a 10mm self levelling compound.

It is important that you allow the self levelling compound to cure before installing  your wooden floating floor on top.

In addition, you should consider installing Warmup’s Foil Heating Mats, which do not require a self levelling compound. Please see further information on the Warmup foil heating system.

Note: The under floor heating cables are NOT approved for direct contact with combustible material. In addition, the heating cable MUST always be embedded in a self-levelling compound  before installing floating wood or laminate floors:
